This vertical garden was spotted at the entrance of a restaurant. It is filled with shade loving plants and it makes quite a statement while taking up a very small footprint. I have been intrigued by vertical planters, first seeing these pocket planters at the San Diego Zoo.
Many people want to have a space to garden, but lack the space to grow much of anything. These pocket planters are a great solution for that. I’ve seen them filled with succulents and also used as a kitchen herb garden. I love this example of these shade loving houseplants because it can be added to nearly any room indoors.
