I mean I did buy these because my son is into dinosaurs right now, but also because they are bright and super fun. I have been eyeing this type of animal planter that vaguely resembles a toy for a while.

I love how playful these are and I also love how they also play a vintage vibe with the pops of color. The dinosaurs are completely inaccurate, but they aren’t diagrams, they are planters. I don’t think many dinosaurs at any point in time had plants growing out of them (unlike sloths which I’ve been told can develop algae on their fur due to inactivity).

I added soil to the triceratops planter and then some succulent leaves to propagate. So far so good!

I found them in the dollar section at target (actually $5 each). Sadly, those items move quick and are no longer available, but the good news is, these fun planters are now becoming widely available.
